Bombers lost their first game of their playoff
series vs. the Yelm Eagles by a score of 7-3. Adam
Jones was 2-3 and scored a pair of runs. He also
gunned a man down at the plate with an amazing
throw. Next game is Sunday and is a must win. |

The Bombers made it 5 wins in a row with a 22-3 win
over a shorthanded Tacoma Tigers squad. Andy Tweed
struck out six in just four innings of pitching, and
the Bomber Bats stayed hot, led by Bryan Boyle (3-6,
HR, 4 RBI), Joe Baginski (1-4, 4 RBI, Run), Adam
Jones (2-6, 3 RBI), Brad Gronland (2-4, 2 RBI, 3
Runs), and Clint Teldje (2-6, 3 Runs, RBI). Well
done fellas, back in action Tuesday @ RAC vs. Eagles
and Wednesday @ Auburn Riverside vs. Cascades. |

The Bombers bombed their arch rivals the Yelm Eagles
last night 11-3! Bryan Boyle, fresh off his wedding
and honeymoon dominated on the mound, and the Bomber
bats finally woke up scoring 11 runs in the first
three innings. The Bombers go for a four game win
streak this weekend at Bellarmine HS vs the Tacoma
Tigers on Sunday...hope to see you there! |

Your Capital City Bomber bats finally woke up! A
final score of 9-2 got the Bombers back in the win
column. Brad Grondlund stayed hot at the plate going
3-4 with a couple of RBI. Players of the Game go to
Nic Bundy who had a huge 3 RBI double and pitcher
Andy Tweedy who pitched a compete game, giving up
just one earned run in 7 innings while striking out
6 Tiger hitters. Well done gentleman! Enjoy a week
off, but take your lazy butts to the cages so we can
keep the winning streak going. |

The Bombers game was suspended due to darkness after
7 innings tied 4-4. Chris "Easy" Easely had a couple
of huge RBIs, and Brian Boyle, pitching in the
middle of his bachelor party, went the distance
giving up just 2 earned runs. Congrats to Brian and
his new bride as they get hitched this weekend.
Bombers are back in action Sunday morning vs. The
Cascades. |
